Each town in southeast Michigan has its own personality — and its own market dynamics. The market is local; the advice should be too. Below is a candid read of where each one stands, and what to know if you're thinking about a move.
Suburban convenience with strong appreciation and a wide range of price points. A mix of new construction around Beck Road and established neighborhoods around Walled Lake. Strong schools and quick access to both Detroit and Ann Arbor make it a perennial favorite for relocations.
Walkable downtown Farmington, mid-century gems throughout Farmington Hills, and a remarkable mix of established neighborhoods and tree-lined streets. Quietly one of my favorite areas to show clients who appreciate character and a strong sense of community.
Small-town feel with more land for the money, and growing fast — but still feels like the kind of place where people wave from the porch. Great fit for families who want acreage without giving up a strong school district.

Premium lakefront, considered downtown shopping, and strong year-round demand. Mill Pond is the visual heart of it. Lakefront premiums are real, but so is the lifestyle for the right family.

Suburban, family-focused, and one of the most diverse townships in the state. Strong investment fundamentals, lots of newer construction, and a wide spread of price points — easier to find what you want than in tighter neighbors.
